Welcome to Lagos Portal Museum for the United Nations TAZIA CRAFT MAKING Arts And Climate It was a beautiful day at the Lagos portal on Saturday 14th February, 2023, where the focus was not just on climate change but on Tazia craft making workshop facilitated by Mumbai portal and session on sustainable fashion facilitated by Jo’burg portal. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as the audience eagerly awaited the beginning of the session. The event was started off with the amazing display of the Tazia craft. The Mumbai portal made sure they explained the idea behind the craft and how it came to being. We also taught how to craft Tazia using just papers and bamboo sticks basically. The conversation began with introductions, as participants got to know each other and shared their backgrounds and experiences with climate change. To everyone’s surprise, there were many common experiences shared among the group, with issues such as flooding, overpopulation, and food wastage being frequently discussed.
